What the comparison shows.
Net to the seller. Each offer’s price less the same costs, so the figures compare like with like.
Conditions. Financing, inspection, a home sale and appraisal conditions each give the buyer a way out. Offers with more conditions carry more risk, even when their net is higher.
Deposit and timing. A deposit under 5% of the price and a closing more than 90 days away are flagged.
